Wondering about being a carpenter? The Carpenter Millwright Trades College offers high school graduates, or non graduate, and those working now, an opportunity to become a commercial carpenter.

With our commercial carpentry programs, you can learn the skills needed to find a job in the industrial-commercial construction industry.

We offer 12-week courses year round. All our instructors have industry experience, and you get a direct link to a carpentry career.

Blue Print Reading Course - Level 1 starts the evening of February 1, 2011. This is a 5 week course offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 PM. Call us today to register for this program.    $360.00

Carpenter Millwright Heads to PEI

CMTC is tentatively offering a Scaffold Erection and Dismantle Program on November 14-December 23, 2011 on Prince Edward Island. Location is yet to be determined. Call us today for more information on applying to this program or apply online!

We are pleased to welcome the Bedford Sackville Learning Network to our facilities. They are moving into one of our classrooms where they will be providing free small classroom instruction to adults wishing to improve their reading, writing, spelling, math, computer basics, and life skills, including GED preparation. Premier Darrell DexterPremier Darrell Dexter took the opportunity to tour CMTC after addressing the delegates at the inaugural convention of the Atlantic Canada Regional Council of Carpenters, Millwrights and Allied Workers held on June 2 and 3 at the College.
